Maestro D, real name Damian Creaser, is an Adelaide MC, DJ and producer with three decades in the city’s dance community. Best known for commanding the microphone during the rave era, he became a trusted voice at parties where an MC needed to lift the room without overpowering the music. Recordings from Discovery at the Synagogue, including Triple J Mix Up sets with ATB, MPK and Noddy, preserve his role during a period of Adelaide nightlife. His work spans classic house, rave, trance, techno and hard dance, whether hosting another selector or taking control behind the decks. Maestro D remains a regular presence at reunions and underground nights, appearing with long-time peers including DJ JoSH, George the Boss, BOF and Pab. Recent bookings range from The Golden Years and Old School Anthems to Underground Session and Hard House Nation. Still active as MC and DJ, he carries rave-era knowledge into present-day rooms with timing, humour and an instinctive understanding of crowd energy.
