LickNTouch aka Benny Rice

LickNTouch is Benny Rice, an Adelaide DJ and co-founder of Mayhem Crew DJs, the local outfit working across house, funky house, hard house and NRG. Hard house is the first love and has been all along, though the sets these days run on driving tech house. It is a distinction worth drawing, because plenty of the nights he plays get billed broadly across house, and the crates stay firmly on the harder, more propulsive side of that. Dance Floor Heretics and Faze One account for most of the bookings. eXPEDITIONS put him at Atlantis on a bill of eight DJs taking two hours each across two rooms, Mindshift took him to Nightshade for a night curated for dancers who live for the music, and in July the two crews combined for Xmas in July at Cosmos Club. He also works with Bobby McKay often, including a hundred and fifty minute sunset session down at Henley Square for Dancing Room.
