Brent aka Brenton Hissey

Brent is the Adelaide house DJ project of Brenton Hissey. After introducing himself to the local community as a bedroom DJ seeking gigs in 2023, he has steadily moved into public events and found a place within the city’s house circuit. His musical focus centres on house, with progressive, melodic, funk, tech and disco influences giving his sets room to move between warm grooves and stronger late-night momentum. Brent is closely associated with Faze One and has also played for Dancing Room Adelaide, appearing alongside local artists while building his own audience. In October 2025, he joined Faze One at The Little Red Door for a progressive house and trance program featuring Bobby McKay, 11 Keys, Jakob and Mishmatic. In July 2026, he returned for Xmas in July at Cosmos Club, closing the house and progressive room alongside Bobby McKay, LicknTouch and Matty B. His progression from home practice to regular Adelaide bookings reflects a patient, community-minded approach to DJing.
