Bobby McKay is a Scotland-born DJ and event organiser based in Adelaide, where he runs Faze One. His sets move through progressive house, melodic techno, tech house, vocal trance, psytrance and high-energy remixes from the 1980s to the 2000s. Rather than staying at one intensity, Bobby builds journeys that rise from deeper grooves into brighter melodies and peak-time rhythms. A finalist in the 2025 Your Shot DJ competition, he has played Adelaide venues and events including Divide, Nightshade, Cosmos Club, The Archer Hotel, Henley Square and West Beach. Through Faze One, Bobby has presented events such as Sunset Sessions and Mindshift, creating stages for selectors from the local scene. His recorded mixes include Elevate and Progressive Nights, alongside vocal trance and melodic house sets. Whether playing a club, beach gathering or community dance event, Bobby’s approach is outgoing, crowd-aware and centred on turning a collection of tracks into a shared journey across the floor.
