Sam B

Sam B is an Adelaide DJ known for hypnotic, groove-led sets moving between bush techno, psytech, dark minimal and minimal techno. His sound is raw, deep and rhythmic, built around rolling basslines, tight percussion and patient progression rather than quick payoffs. That control allows him to work across intimate rooms and larger dancefloors while keeping a musical identity. Sam got his start with Before AU and is now a regular name within Adelaide's house and techno circuit, appearing for crews including The Front Room, Doof Techno and Faze One. His bookings have placed him on lineups supporting artists such as James Zabiela and Oliver Huntemann, as well as alongside local selectors. Sets at Ancient World, Electric Circus, Mala Mia and West Beach show his ability to shift from dark late-night sessions to open-air parties. Sam B continues to develop as a selector, favouring focused journeys, physical grooves and dancefloor tension.
