Maple aka Henry Mapleson

Maple, the performance name of Adelaide DJ Henry Mapleson, entered the local circuit through the 2025 Your Shot competition. After five weeks of training, he delivered a 25-minute set spanning acid, hard techno and trance, winning his stage at the South Australian showcase. The recording captures a fast approach built around rising pressure, sharp transitions and forceful club rhythms. Maple credits the people and experiences around him as central to his musical direction, bringing a social, crowd-aware character to his sets. Since Your Shot, he has continued building experience across Adelaide’s clubs, appearing at The Manager’s Office and sharing bills with local selectors. Bookings at Electric Circus and BRKLYN have placed him on programs covering house, techno and bass music, giving him room to work between harder sounds and party-focused selections. Maple is turning his competition result into regular club work while developing a clear place among Adelaide’s new generation of DJs.
