Freyja is the Adelaide DJ project of Lyanne Jellema, a local selector working with Afro house and organic electronic sounds. Her first documented booking was presented as a debut set, with the promoter describing Afro house and organic textures as the focus of her music. That billing placed Freyja alongside Soulphonious and Battüs, whose back-to-back set moved through melodic techno and progressive house, while the wider program reached into harder techno.
