Floating Castle is one of the three resident managers at The Manager's Office, the Underdale DJ booth and crew that has become a small institution in Adelaide's techno circle. Ketracel and Kill Your Television are the other two, and the room they run doubles as a practice space, a content studio and a promoter. The bookings that follow are the kind a promoter reserves for someone they trust on a big night. In March, Dance Floor Heretics, Simply Techno and Front Room combined to bring CJ Bolland and Thomas Schumacher to TIA LIVE on Hindley Street, and Floating Castle was one of only four locals on a marathon of pounding techno, alongside S4T, BOF and Solace. June brought something rather different in tone. Front Room put James Zabiela into Mala Mia for a two and a half hour King's Birthday set, the progressive house wizard working an intimate Latin room, with Floating Castle supporting.
