Taras aka Taras Zagajewski

Taras Zagajewski is an Adelaide DJ, producer and sound engineer whose work crosses club music, original production, radio and live audio. A musician and recording enthusiast as well as a selector, he has released music under his own name including Across the Sea with Canadian singer Brib, its dance remix, The Hutt St Song with Klean Streetz and The Birthday Blues. His triple j Unearthed profile places his work across dance, electronic and indie, reflecting a broad approach rather than a single fixed genre. Taras has also been closely involved with community radio through Tribe FM in Willunga, contributing to on-air sound production and the station’s technical infrastructure since 2018. Alongside DJing and production, his wider practice includes live sound, recording and audiovisual work, giving his sets and studio work the perspective of someone equally comfortable behind the decks, in the studio and on the technical side of music.
