Hyperfixate aka Monique Kaye

Hyperfixate is the alias of Adelaide DJ Monique Kaye, a bass music selector working across 140, drum & bass, jungle and UKG. Her sets move between dark sub frequencies and rolling breaks, built for late rooms rather than polite ones. Since arriving on the Adelaide circuit she has become a fixture at Ancient World, with further appearances at Electric Circus, District 84, Mala Mia and the Glenelg foreshore. She has supported Shuga (Naarm) along with UK visitors Degs, Mampi Swift, Klumzy Khemist, Bailey, Casey Club, Yung Singh and Grooverider, and played parties run by Ez Now, Overload, AirDNB, H03 and fourfourfour. Radio has followed. Hyperfixate has recorded guest mixes for Newy Bass Crew and for The Low End on Select Radio in the UK, plus The Bass Bin on Fresh 92.7, and featured in that station's 28th birthday 360 takeover at District 84. Recent mixes include entries for the Sunny Side Up and Rampage Open Air x Crucast comps.
