Profeshto

Profeshto, also known as Daniel Preston, is an Adelaide drum and bass DJ and radio host known for fast mixing, triple drops and an upbeat connection with the crowd. His selections cover liquid, rollers, jump-up, neurofunk, dancefloor and 4x4, allowing sets to shift from melodic passages into heavier combinations. He made his Fresh 92.7 debut on Fresh Off the Decks in 2024 and now hosts dnbHUB, a weekly two-hour program covering releases, Adelaide events and emerging local artists. Away from radio, Profeshto has appeared alongside SOTA, Mampi Swift, Primate and Circadian, while remaining active across community-led line-ups and station events. His recorded mixes preserve the layering and broad range heard in his club sets, with episodes and guest sessions available through Mixcloud and YouTube. By combining broadcasting, performance and support for new selectors, Profeshto has become a key voice in Adelaide’s drum and bass community and a reliable guide to the music’s many branches.
