Haz aka Harry Boyd-Turner

Radio: The Garage — Sundays 8:00PM - 10:00PM — on Fresh 92.7 FM

HAZ is Adelaide DJ and radio presenter Harry Boyd-Turner, whose sound centres on UK garage and house, with room for drum and bass and other UK club styles. Before stepping behind the decks, he spent ten years playing trumpet, developing a musical grounding that now informs his selections and mixing. He began experimenting with DJing in 2023 through a Year 12 music project and won the Adelaide Your Shot competition in 2024 after six weeks of training. HAZ hosts The Garage on Fresh 92.7, sharing new music, artist interviews and guest sets while giving Adelaide and Australian talent space alongside international artists. His connection with the station also includes earlier work as a newsreader and Drive presenter. Alongside radio, he is associated with Thirdbass and has appeared on its club lineups, including SECOND BASE at Electric Circus. Through his sets and broadcasts, HAZ connects his instrumental background with a growing focus on garage and the wider sounds of club music.
