Adelaide drum and bass selector Azura — All Zones Under Ruthless Ascension — is making her presence felt in the city's bass scene with performances and recordings that mark her out as one to watch.
Her biggest moment came in 2025 when she took out the overall day winner title at Your Shot SA, the competition that spotlights emerging South Australian talent. A statement result for an artist still building her profile, and the bookings that followed backed it up.
A slot on Fresh FM 92.7's The Ones & Twos saw her deliver a full hour of heavy drum and bass to a wider Adelaide audience, and her SoundCloud catalogue — Night Mix I and II alongside Morning Mix I — shows the range she brings to the format. Hard and driving when the room calls for it, more considered when the moment allows.
On the live front, she's been part of the DnB Friday series at Confession in Port Adelaide, holding her own in a stacked local lineup. Early days, but the foundation is solid. Azura is building something.
