Syntax aka Brandon Langsdon

Syntax is Brandon Langsdon, an Adelaide DJ working the deep, dark and minimal end of drum & bass. Pendulum got him into the music back in the late 2000s, he started DJing in 2012, then stopped for eight years and came back to it in 2022. Everything on record dates from that return. The catching up has been quick. His Deep & Dark mixes bookend 2023 and 2024, a back to back with not that MASSIVE sits between them, and the live recordings track a steady climb: Wavecult's Imbolc in 2023, Forbidden Forest on New Year's Eve, Bicycle Day, a Wickid Lickwid set, then a warehouse party the following year. The bookings have followed on from that. Wickid Lickwid put him up to support Mystic State at Ancient World, the South West England duo working late nineties jungle and dub, and on Easter Sunday he made the sixteen name card at Mala Mia when AirDNB, TMO and Wickid Lickwid brought QZB and Charli Brix over.
