Syntax aka Brandon Langsdon

Syntax, aka Brandon Langsdon, is an Adelaide drum & bass DJ specialising in the deep, dark and minimal side of the sound. His sets are built around careful selection, rolling low-end and atmospheric pressure, favouring progression and detail over constant peaks. A longtime drum & bass listener drawn into the music through Pendulum in the late 2000s, Langsdon began DJing in 2012 before returning to the decks in 2022 after an extended break. Since then, Syntax has developed a steady catalogue of recorded mixes and live sets spanning deep DnB, liquid and darker club territory. That sound has taken him through Adelaide festivals, warehouse parties and bass nights, including appearances with Wickid Lickwid, AirDNB and Low Kool Selection, while keeping the deeper end of drum & bass at the centre of the project.
