Wickid Lickwid is an Adelaide bass initiative founded in 2024 by DJ, producer and radio host Katie Morrison, known as Amorositie. Created to hold space for liquid drum and bass, it favours the soulful, funky and emotional side of DnB while supporting femininity and newer artists. Its programme has grown from community sessions into international bookings, presenting Euphonique, Wingz, Mystic State, Operate and Rizzle, often at Ancient World. Wickid Thursdayz, its monthly open-decks night, welcomes developing and experienced DJs across all electronic genres, with randomised set draws and low-cost entry removing barriers to playing publicly. The initiative also runs seminars, paid-set competitions, artist showcases and audiovisual projects. Collaborations with wavecult, AirDNB and The Manager's Office have widened its reach across bass music, while Katie's hosting and radio work keep the focus on connection, representation and giving Adelaide selectors opportunities behind the decks.
