Batch aka Simon Batch

Batch is Simon Batch, an Adelaide drum & bass DJ with more than twenty years on the decks and a philosophy that fits in a single line: there are only two kinds of music, good and shit, and all genres matter. He lists dad jokes as a second specialty. The recorded trail backs the timeline up. An all vinyl mix for Adelaide Massive dates to December 2006, and from there the run takes in a busy mix for Onion Magazine in 2011, a Musque New Year's Eve set, a three hour Boxing Day session and a two hour rinse out back to back with Phonic. Fresh 92.7 has had him on The Ones & Twos across the years, co-hosting Liquid Specials with Rohan, later sharing the show with Klu, and closing out 2014 with a four hour end of year jam. More recently he was on the Easter Sunday bill at Mala Mia, when AirDNB, TMO and Wickid Lickwid brought QZB and vocalist Charli Brix over for an open air day into night party.
