Zandr aka Zander Schacht-Walsh

Zandr is Zander Schacht-Walsh, a drum & bass DJ working the Adelaide circuit. The self description on his own page reads wannabe dj, which undersells a run that has already put him on two of the bigger local bills going. New Year's weekend brought DNBeach at the Grand in Glenelg, where he went back to back with Hyperfixate on a card built around UK visitors Degs, Mampi Swift and Klumzy Khemist. Three months later came Mala Mia on Easter Sunday, when AirDNB, TMO and Wickid Lickwid combined to bring QZB and vocalist Charli Brix over for an open air day into night session running from four in the afternoon through to two in the morning. That Mala Mia lineup was sixteen names deep and drew from most corners of the local scene, with Amorositie, Patch, Rusha and Snowh!te among the selectors and Pab, EssBee, Pase and G-Swift handling the mics. Being on it this early counts for something.
