Fiction is one of Adelaide’s longest-serving drum & bass and jungle DJs, with a career beginning around 1996 and appearances reaching back to the original Enchanted Forest era in 1998. Closely associated with Inbound and The Collective, he has carried the city’s bass culture across three decades, from early rave lineups and vinyl-led club nights to current jungle and DnB events. His sets draw from the deeper history of the sound, moving through jungle, rollers, dark drum & bass and related styles with the perspective of a selector who has followed the music through several generations. Inbound marked 28 years in 2026 with a return to its original home, the Crown and Sceptre, while another booking celebrated Fiction’s 30th anniversary behind the decks with a Diggin’ in the Crates set. Recent appearances span Inbound, AirDNB, Low Kool Selection, Ez Now and Club Deep, alongside international artists including Bailey, Ray Keith and Future Engineers.
