Envy aka Carlo Mezzini
Envy is the DJ alias of Carlo Mezzini, an Adelaide selector with roots in the city’s nightclub scene. Mezzini later stepped away from DJing as work and family took priority; a 2023 episode of The Fit Parent Playbook introduced him as a former Adelaide nightclub DJ and discussed his move into design and parenthood. Away from music he built a long career in graphic design and is now Creative Director at Adelaide agency Argon, after earlier running Pink Envy Design Studio. The Envy name has since resurfaced through Reunion Festival, with Mezzini booked for the 2027 event alongside DJs and MCs from several generations of Adelaide club culture.
