Brendon (DJ Brendon / Brendon Moyle) is a long-standing Adelaide DJ and one of the city’s most established names in dance music. Active since the mid-1980s, he began with hip-hop and turntablism before becoming a key figure in Adelaide’s early house scene, holding a residency at The Strand (Adelaide’s first pure house club) alongside Groove Terminator and HMC in 1988. He has an extensive competitive and club history, including multiple South Australian DMC titles (1991 and 1993) and a strong placing in national competitions. Brendon was voted Best SA DJ at the Motorola Australian Dance Music Awards and received a lifetime achievement award at the 2001 Central Station Dance Music Awards. He ranked number one in South Australia and within the national top 25 in DJ polls.
