G-Motion

G-Motion is a fixture of Beats on Parade, the roaming Adelaide night that turns hotel function rooms into dance floors for an evening. He has played every edition on record: The Feathers at Burnside, The Lion and The Archer in North Adelaide, and Bacchus Bar out at Henley Beach. The brief across all of them is old school dance anthems and feel good house, played long and played free. Bacchus ran four hours into a coastal sunset, The Feathers five hours of big energy, and The Archer stretched across two levels with house heaters upstairs and classics down. Conspirosy has been beside him on every one of those bills, with Jerry Tee on most, which makes the three of them the closest thing the night has to a resident core. It is unglamorous work in the best sense: no headliners flown in, no ticket price, just a room full of people who came to dance and a DJ who knows how to keep them there.
