Sassy By Nature aka Ade Franklin

Sassy By Nature, aka Ade Franklin, is an Adelaide DJ with a musical background that reaches well beyond the booth. After studying classical and jazz at a specialist music school, she was introduced to DJing on Traktor in 2016, began practising on her own setup in 2018 and moved to Pioneer equipment the following year. Her sets draw from house, progressive house, vocal and uplifting trance, electro and old-school dance, with melody, familiar vocals and high-energy grooves at the centre. Ade has become a regular part of Beats on Parade, playing Adelaide pubs, bars and outdoor parties alongside G-Motion, Conspirosy and live percussion. Her Mixcloud archive reflects the same broad approach, moving from nostalgic house and big-room favourites to longer progressive and trance journeys. Sassy By Nature is less about staying inside one genre than reading the room, lifting the energy and keeping people dancing.
