Beats on Parade takes the club to the pub. Rather than working a single venue, the night moves around Adelaide's hotels, turning function rooms and beer gardens into dance floors for an evening: The Feathers at Burnside, The Lion and The Archer in North Adelaide, and the Marion Hotel out on Marion Road. The formula holds wherever it lands. Free entry, uplifting house and old school dance anthems, and live percussion over the top, which is the detail that separates it from a standard DJ night. The Archer edition stretched across two levels, house heaters upstairs and dance classics downstairs, with seven DJs working through the night. The regulars are Conspirosy and Jerry Tee, on every bill so far, with G-Motion, Charlie Mason and Johnny Concept rotating through alongside them. Nights run long, usually five hours or more, and the crowd is there to dance rather than to be seen.
