Do You Remember House

Do You Remember House is an Adelaide event series run by DJ Jaki J, built around the records, clubs and shared memories that shaped the city’s house music culture. Launched in the mid-2010s, it became a recurring Easter Sunday fixture at the Arkaba Hotel’s Top of the Ark, pairing classic house selections with a reunion-style atmosphere. Past editions have featured Groove Terminator, MC Scott T, DJ JoSH and other Adelaide names closely connected to the original club era. The programming reaches across late-1980s foundations, 1990s vocal house and the known dance records of the 2000s, mixing remembered favourites with tracks that rarely return to modern club sets. The series has also appeared at Bonython Park as part of Summer Sounds, taking its old-school format into a festival setting. In 2026, Do You Remember House expanded its scope by presenting US vocalist and DJ Ultra Naté at the Arkaba, bringing an international house figure to an event grounded in Adelaide’s dancefloor history.
