Dancespace

Dancespace (aka Jake Phillips) is a long-standing Adelaide DJ and the owner of Electric Circus. A resident at the venue for well over a decade, he has become one of the key figures behind the basement club’s continued presence in the city’s electronic scene. Known for house and bass-focused sets, Dancespace has supported a wide range of local and international artists at Electric Circus while also releasing his own music. His 2016 track “We Are Through” (released via Onelove/Clublove) received strong local radio support and charted on Fresh 92.7, later followed by the independent single “Get Up.” As both a long-time resident DJ and venue operator, Dancespace remains closely tied to Electric Circus and continues to play a central role in Adelaide’s club landscape.
