Apollo

Also known as: Dylanwrites

Apollo is the electronic alias of Dylan Wright, the Melbourne-born musician, producer and DJ who also plays Rocket Bar's booths as Dylanwrites. As Apollo he makes emotionally rich music, pairing the synthesis and instrumentation of ambient music with nightclub drums and basslines, aiming to bridge the gap between a solitary listener and a crowded room. His releases have landed on Shelter Records, Transistor and Central Station Records, and in September 2026 he released Rapture, a collaboration with vocalist ebony elise on October Records. He also remixed Dress & Impress for Adelaide artist Maybe Hugo. In Adelaide, Apollo has been a regular on Electric Circus bills, from the Rocket Bar DJ cohort's takeover supporting Badger from the UK to The 19th Hole and Curated by La Lani, alongside Zoe G, Bano and Dillon Hett.
