Luke Hovey

Luke Hovey is a Melbourne-based DJ and producer whose fast-moving techno has carried him from Australian clubs and festivals to international dance floors. His sets favour hard rhythms, playful turns and a restless pace, reflected in recordings from HÖR Berlin, Beyond The Valley and a back-to-back session with Mark Blair at Revolver Sundays. As a producer, his releases include the Kickin’ EP on Carouse Records and “Guilty Pleasure” on the French label Mama Told Ya. Hovey has become a regular presence across Melbourne, appearing at venues including Revolver Upstairs, New Guernica and Sub Club, while his schedule has taken him to Sydney, Hobart, Geelong, Amsterdam and Berlin. In Adelaide, he joined Electric Circus resident Tymmons for a late-night edition of Curated by Tymmons, bringing his Melbourne techno sound to one of the city’s best-known underground rooms. Whether producing or behind the decks, Luke Hovey delivers club music with speed, personality and a strong sense of fun.
