Seek N Destroy aka Christopher Thornett

Seek N Destroy is the Adelaide project of DJ and producer Christopher Thornett, a key figure in the city’s bass music community. Emerging in the early 2010s, he built his name through hard-edged production spanning dubstep, trap and electro, with releases reaching listeners beyond Australia. His 2014 collaboration “Crank” with producer Kayzo paired metallic sound design with heavy sub-bass and became an early marker of his uncompromising style. More recently, Seek N Destroy has moved firmly into drum and bass while keeping the weight, tension and rock-influenced energy of his earlier work. The 2026 single “Get Up,” released through Riot Records, reflects that focus with fast breaks and forceful low end. His DJ sets combine new productions, remixes and high-impact bass selections, placing him across club nights, DnB events and festival stages. More than a decade into the project, he remains active as a producer and performer while supporting Adelaide’s next wave of bass artists.
