Sounds in the Quarry is a boutique Riverland music festival staged at the Historic Overland Corner Hotel, where a 160-year-old stone quarry becomes an open-air dance floor for one day each year. Run by Sarez Entertainment, the 18+ event combines electronic music, party anthems and live sounds with festival production in a striking regional South Australian setting. Returning for its fourth year in 2026, the festival presents more than 20 local and interstate artists across two stages, with the quarry serving as its main arena. Sound, lighting, visuals and a fireworks finale bring the stone setting to life, while food, Riverland beer, wine and spirits round out the program. Free riverside camping beside the Murray is included, allowing guests to stay close to the site and make a weekend of the trip. Sounds in the Quarry has become a date on the Riverland calendar, pairing hospitality with a dance-focused festival shaped by its location, local community and South Australian talent.
