Kirana is an Adelaide drum & bass DJ and part of The Collective, the crew that has spent years bringing international names to the city under the ADLDNB banner. Her bookings run through them, and the pattern is a consistent one: when an international lands at Divide, she is usually somewhere on the support bill.
The run this year alone takes in Circadian from the UK in May, Andromedik from Belgium in June, where she went back to back with Renegade, The Nexus in August with Flowidus and Ekko topping the card, and Pola & Bryson in September. That is four internationals inside five months, all of them in the same room on Hindley Street.
Beyond The Collective she has worked the wider circuit. AirDNB has her on Vibe Vol 2 at Mala Mia, a day into night party sixteen names deep, and back in March she played A Day at the Beach on the Glenelg foreshore with Felix Da Housecat and Grooverider.
