Low Kool Selection is an Adelaide drum and bass and jungle night started in 2026 by EssBee and Pab, sometimes billed together as S and P. Based at Winston on Hindley Street, it runs free five-hour sessions around rotating homegrown line-ups, with resident Pab linking each edition. The first five volumes, held from April to September 2026, booked 21 different guests, ranging from established locals such as Fiction, DT3, Neisha and Amorositie alongside selectors including Lottie B, Knvex, Moment, Kirana and Azura. That booking policy connects different generations and corners of Adelaide’s bass community rather than repeatedly drawing from the same small group. Volume 3 became a dedicated Jungle Edition for Kat’s Birthday Rinse Out, while the other bills moved through drum and bass, jungle, liquid, old-school and heavier sounds. Regular 9pm–2am hours, free admission and Winston’s intimate west-end room keep Low Kool Selection accessible, community-minded and focused on DJs and the music.
