Low Kool Selection

Low Kool Selection is an Adelaide drum and bass series founded in 2026 by Esbee and Pab, also billed as S and P. Based at Winston on Hindley Street, the project runs free-entry nights centred on homegrown lineups. Its first event arrived in April 2026, followed by regular sessions and themed editions spanning drum and bass, jungle, liquid funk, old-school sounds and heavier selections. Pab serves as resident DJ, while changing bills feature established locals, newer selectors and artists from different corners of Adelaide’s DnB scene. The July Jungle Edition doubled as Kat’s Birthday Rinse Out, with Fiction, Amorositie, 020 and Bennie Raw joining Pab for a dedicated junglist session. The format is deliberately simple: five-hour nights, local crews, free admission and music made for the dance floor. By keeping the series regular and community-led, Esbee and Pab provide another platform for Adelaide selectors while returning bass music to Winston’s west-end room.
