Teej aka Troy O'Brien

Teej is Adelaide drum and bass DJ Troy O’Brien, a selector building his name through radio, bookings and the city’s open-decks community. His recorded output includes a March 2026 appearance with Amorositie on The Ones and Twos, Fresh 92.7’s weekly drum and bass program, preserved on SoundCloud as a shared 27-minute session. In May he joined DT3, Rendrz, Darby and resident Pab for Low Kool Selection Volume 2 at Winston, a free-entry night devoted to Adelaide drum and bass and jungle. Teej has also become part of the Wickid Lickwid circle at Ancient World. After regularly attending its monthly open decks and proving his ability behind the decks, he was hand-picked for the crew’s first-anniversary Green and Purple Dress Up Party in July 2026, performing back-to-back with Cruel Reality. These appearances place Teej within Adelaide’s new wave of bass DJs: developing through community platforms, collaborating with selectors and gaining experience across radio, open decks and club line-ups.
