Sepia aka Dan Monceaux
Sepia, aka Dan Monceaux, is an Adelaide selector known for joining Caribbean-rooted sounds with bass music and global grooves. Reggae, dub and dancehall sit at the centre of his sets, but his range extends through ragga jungle, drum and bass, reggaeton, breakbeat, UK garage, house, techno, funk, disco and trip hop. He brings these strands together under the Sepiatone Sound banner, moving from relaxed beer garden sessions to full-pressure raves. Described as Adelaide’s reggae ambassador, Sepia has contributed to the music locally and interstate, working across bars, events, bush doofs and community radio. He previously hosted on Tribe FM and now presents parties including Shakedown, where rub-a-dub and digital reggae build toward dancehall, reggaeton and jungle. Appearances at The Gov, Sub Frequency and Low Kool Selection underline his flexibility, while his mixes offer broad, informed selections shaped by rhythm, sound-system culture and a global outlook.
