Neuroses aka Ren Resonate

Neuroses is the Adelaide DJ project of Lauren Rankin, also known as Ren Resonate. Working across bass music and harder club sounds, she moves between drum and bass, 140 BPM pressure, techno and darker electronic selections, building sets around weight, tension and rhythmic detail. Rankin is also a flow artist, bringing physical movement to her approach behind the decks. Her appearances include supporting Forest Drive West alongside Medea for Subvert at Ancient World, joining the local bill for French DJ u.r.trax, and opening Om Charm Fellowship’s New Year gathering with bass and drum and bass. Neuroses has played darker EDM line-ups for Overload and Adelaide’s wider underground bass circuit. In 2026 she joined Ez Now’s Spring Mashup at Ancient World, sharing a programme of dubstep, garage, grime, footwork, juke, jungle and DnB selectors. Her sets place heavy low end beside hypnotic rhythm, linking bass culture with Adelaide’s techno and alternative club communities.
