Jemma aka Jemma Hayward

Jemma is Jemma Hayward, an Adelaide DJ who has built her name almost entirely on Culture, the promoter behind the city's Blackout series. The recorded trail starts back in 2024 with a run of mixes titled with a certain irreverence: Freestyle Mix Vol.1, White Girl Shit, a quick doof mix and a party mix, followed by a live recording from Schoolies Festival that December. A year later came her live set from Culture in Adelaide, which marks the shift from mixes made at home to sets played out in front of a proper crowd. Culture has kept her close since. She played Blackout Edition 3.0 at the University of Adelaide cloisters for the promoter's fourth birthday, an outdoor festival rave with Dimatik, Anderex and Luke Noize on the bill, and she returns in September for the fourth edition, a secret CBD street party led by BEAUZ, BYORN and Junkie Kid with warehouse rave energy the stated brief.
