Jack Jelly is Rocket Bar's most reliable fixture. Almost everything on his record runs through the one Hindley Street address, and the rate is close to weekly: No Requests No Regrets on Saturdays, Drain The Taps and Put A Lid On It on Fridays, plus the Rocket Bar All-Stars and Rocket FM nights when they come around. DylanWrites is the name beside his more often than not. The range that keeps him there is unusually wide. No Requests No Regrets asks selectors to go deep into their own collections and ignore the crowd entirely, Long-play Selections is strictly vinyl with tracks left to run their full length, and Rocket FM is bass heavy late night club energy. He handles all three. He also works outside the building. Citizen1 picked him for a curated late night house and techno session in the Electric Circus basement, which puts him on both sides of the city's divide between rooftop and underground.
