Josh Rogers

Josh Rogers is an Adelaide producer and DJ who runs his work as three operations rather than one. The main account carries the name and takes the bookings, Gush handles the live music side, and Roers is where the house material goes. Most DJs collapse everything into a single alias, so keeping them deliberately apart says something about how differently he treats each of them. The infrastructure is unusually tidy for the level. His own domain, a booking address running on it, and a clean split between the three projects, which reads more like someone running a small business than someone posting mixes. The one booking on record is ROCKET FM. Rocket Bar & Rooftop put him on in May for their free before midnight rooftop session, built on bass heavy late night club energy, alongside Jack Jelly and Alex Aurae on Hindley Street. Jelly is about as close to a house resident as that venue has.
