Lawrence Lewis aka Angus Brill Reed

Lawrence Lewis is Angus Brill Reed, an Adelaide DJ and producer working across tech house, deep and UK garage. He started playing and making music at four and was DJing by thirteen, which goes some way to explaining a record that already runs deeper than his years would suggest. Songwriting is where most of the accolades sit. He won the EDM category of the UK Songwriting Contest in 2020 with Cutting Corners, placed third in the ACMF National Songwriting Competition the following year with Start At The End, and has been shortlisted twice for SBS Australia Decides. The International Songwriting Competition has made him a semi finalist three times over. The collaborators are well connected: Alex Hosking, signed to Warner and Sony Publishing, producer M4SONIC, and Tori Marshall. He holds multiple residencies in Adelaide and plays venues across the country, with Asylum the most recent single.
