Late Nite Lew aka Lewis Brideson

Late Nite Lew is Lewis Brideson, and the self description runs to five words: DJ, beat maker, music appreciator. He is an open format DJ based in Tarntanya/Adelaide, blurring genres and bridging decades with house, disco and indie dance favourites alongside deep cuts. Rocket Bar & Rooftop is home, through a long-term residency on Hindley Street, and the nights there ask the most of a selector. Long-play Selections is strictly vinyl, with tracks left to run their full length. Vinyl Takeover in July was the same format with his name alone on the bill. No Requests No Regrets asks DJs to go deep into their own collections and ignore whatever the room is shouting for. He works those bills alongside Jack Jelly and DylanWrites, the pair who anchor most of the Rocket calendar. Beyond the bar he has played Splendour in the Grass, Groovin The Moo and Laneway, and the beat making lives on Bandcamp and Mixcloud.
