Rmac aka Russell McAdam
Also runs: Reunion Festival
RMAC is Adelaide house and club DJ Russell McAdam, a name from the city’s after-hours circuit. His history reaches through venues and parties that helped define Adelaide clubbing, including Cargo Club appearances and the day-club era remembered alongside DJs such as Dr Damage, Noddy and Ezee-G. His sets draw from house, big-room records, remixes and anthems associated with Adelaide venues of the 1990s and 2000s. RMAC remains active behind the decks and as an organiser. He co-founded Reunion Adelaide with Audioporn, Kontrol and Souli, building the series from reunion nights into a multi-stage festival at Morphettville Racecourse attended by thousands. The event brings together South Australian DJs across house, R&B, rave, trance, techno, jungle and drum and bass. RMAC has also played Reunion’s club editions and afterparties, recorded Reunion Series mixes with Kontrol, and appeared at Mayday 2.0 at the Old Adelaide Gaol. His work connects Adelaide’s club history with dance floors.
