Vinyl Destination is an Adelaide old-school dance community and event series created by DJ Brendon Moyle during the isolation of 2020. Beginning with vinyl-only livestreams, it reconnected dancers and DJs through the house, rave and club records that shaped Adelaide nightlife in the 1990s and early 2000s. The sessions grew into live productions, including sold-out appearances at the 2021 Adelaide Festival and the continuing Come Together series at the Arkaba Hotel. Come Together reunites DJs and MCs associated with clubs such as The Ark, Le Rox, Heaven, Synagogue, Metro, Control, Cargo and Q, alongside memories of raves including Inquest, Vision, Enchanted and Ultraworld. Music is presented entirely on vinyl, supported by sound, lighting, lasers and themed production across multiple rooms. Led by Brendon, Vinyl Destination treats old-school dance culture as a living community, bringing original participants together while introducing the music and its history to newer audiences.
