Skot Holder

Skot Holder is an Adelaide DJ whose connection to the city’s club and rave culture dates back to at least the late 1990s. Known for selecting house, rave and old-school dance records, he remains a familiar name across reunion events, club-classics nights and venue sessions. Archive line-ups place Holder at Powder in 1999, followed by appearances at Cargo Anthems, Christmas Anthems and Thursday nights at Venus during the mid-2000s. At Venus, he formed part of a resident team that maintained a weekly home for Adelaide club music. Holder has continued that association with the city’s dance history through the Anthems series, playing alongside DJs JoSH and BOF with MCs Maestro D and Jules. His 2026 Adelaide Fringe appearance at Gluttony’s Fantail revisited the rave and electronic records that drove local dancefloors in the early 1990s. Away from productions, sets at venues including The Sceptre show his ability to move between nostalgic club material.
