A Paul Hamon Invitation

A Paul Hamon Invitation is the personal event banner of Adelaide rave promoter and archive publisher Paul Hamon. Its roots reach back to the early 1990s, when Hamon moved from the dancefloor into organising parties with friends through Instantaneous Productions, The Core magazine and later Continuous Flow with Nathan “BOF” Hughes. Under those earlier projects he helped stage Inquest at the Old Adelaide Gaol, Smile in the Adelaide Hills and Clubland at Heaven. The invitation name carries that personal approach into the present: gatherings chosen and hosted by Paul rather than a fixed club night or genre brand. Events have ranged from Anthems’ open-air Old School Edition at Gluttony and free OverTime parties at the Gala Room to smaller celebrations built around DJs, MCs, friends and favourite records. It is less a conventional promotion company than Paul’s calling card for one-off Adelaide parties rooted in community, rave history and the simple pleasure of meeting again on a dancefloor.
