Ben

Ben is a long-serving Adelaide DJ whose connection with the city’s dance scene began at just 14. Across more than a decade of club work, he became a familiar name at venues and events including HQ Nightclub and parties at the Old Adelaide Gaol, building a reputation for versatile, crowd-aware sets. His musical range spans house, trance, Eurodance, NRG, rave and club classics, while his recorded catalogue also reaches into drum & bass, hip hop and R&B. Ben remains closely tied to Adelaide’s old-school community, appearing at reunion events and alongside figures such as DJ JoSH, Adrian Zac, Nick Ford and MC Maestro D. His 2015 Heaven Reunion mix with Nick Ford revisited the rave and hard-house records associated with that era. More recently, he returned to The Golden Years at the Arkaba Hotel, including its 2026 tenth-anniversary celebration. Through his Old & NuSkool Mixes archive, Ben continues sharing sets that connect Adelaide’s club history with the music he plays today.
