Continuous Flow — Adelaide event promoter

Continuous Flow

Run by: BOF, Paul Hamon
Continuous Flow is an Adelaide event crew founded by Paul Hamon and Nathan “BOF” Hughes in the mid-1990s. Its early parties grew from the city’s rave culture, favouring underground locations, mixed electronic lineups and community promotion. An event at the Hilton Hotel in March 1995 featured Brendon, ATB, Andy J, Badman, BOF, Shane “ESF” Francis and a live set from Flip. The crew is best remembered for Smile, a secret-location rave in the Adelaide Hills attended by roughly 300–400 people. Directions circulated through word of mouth and hand-drawn maps, leading ravers to a night of techno, house and breakbeats that continued until dawn. Hamon and Hughes revived the name in 2025 for Still Smiling, a 30th-anniversary reunion at Fuego by the Sea with DJs BOF, Devious, ESF and Flip. Continuous Flow has since remained connected with Dance Floor Heretics events, including Mellow Monday, carrying its focus on music, atmosphere and rave community into a new generation of Adelaide gatherings.
