Paul Hamon is an Adelaide electronic-music promoter, publisher and archive curator active since the early 1990s. He handled accounts and administration for The Core, Adelaide’s weekly dance-music magazine, later becoming a co-owner. In December 1992, Hamon joined Daniel Michael, Damian Creaser, Ben Dry and Josh Fechner to form Instantaneous Productions, whose first rave, Inquest, brought around 1,000 people to the Old Adelaide Gaol in January 1993. He later formed Continuous Flow with Nathan “BOF” Hughes, promoting the secret Adelaide Hills rave Smile in 1995. Hamon launched Anthems in 1997, preserving flyers, photographs, recordings and stories from South Australia’s rave history while supporting reunion events. In 2026, he established mm.ussi.cc as an Adelaide event and artist index with a weekly newsletter. Although listed in the DJ section, Hamon is not a DJ; his work centres on promotion, publishing, documentation and keeping Adelaide’s electronic-music history accessible.
