Instantaneous Productions
Instantaneous Productions was an Adelaide rave crew formed in December 1992 by Daniel Michael, Damian Creaser, Ben Dry, Josh Fechner and Paul Hamon. All were under 21 when they staged Inquest at the Old Adelaide Gaol on 16 January 1993. The thousand-person party drew SBS television coverage and established the team within South Australia’s rave movement. Instantaneous went on to run Discovery, an underground Wednesday club night at 69 Light Square, featuring artists including DAMC and HMC. The crew also worked with The Core on We Are the Future at Cheltenham Racecourse in July 1993, an all-ages event built around Adelaide DJs, live electronic acts and The System AD’s final Australian performance before moving overseas. The original operation lasted until about 1994, with its members remaining connected to Adelaide music and events. In 2026, Instantaneous returned for the Discovery +33 Years Reunion at Club Curious, reuniting MPK, Noddy and Maestro D while raising funds for Beyond Blue.
