CRA$H OUT is the Adelaide DJ duo of friends L.E.C.N.A and xela rae, bringing together the musical instincts of Ellie Goldfinch and Alana Alexander. Built around a shared love of garage, UK funky, hard house and bass music, the project moves quickly between weighty low end, skipping rhythms and high-energy club selections. CRA$H OUT have appeared within Adelaide’s bass circuit at Ancient World, including the Ez Now May-Hem party, where dubstep, garage, grime, footwork, juke, jungle and drum and bass shared the programme. The duo have also brought UK garage flavour to Bassline Market events and joined bills connected with visiting artists such as Yung Singh. Both members remain active independently: L.E.C.N.A through radio, DJ sets and The Bass Bin, and xela rae through production, fourfourfour and Sleepwalking Ent. Together, CRA$H OUT offers a lively meeting point between their individual sounds, driven by friendship, bassweight and a taste for the unexpected.
