0800KIN is an Adelaide DJ and producer working on Kaurna Country, known for fast, restless club sets that refuse to stay inside one genre. Using they/them pronouns, they move through Jersey club, ballroom, baile funk, guaracha and bass-heavy electronic music, tying sharp rhythmic switches to pop samples, internet references and controlled chaos. Their selections resemble a corrupted computer soundtrack: playful, abrasive and built for bodies in motion. A regular presence at Ancient World, Sugar and Electric Circus, 0800KIN has appeared alongside interstate and international artists while becoming associated with Adelaide collective H34VEN0N34RTH. Their production “WTFiS#THAT,” released on the H34VEN:SENT compilation, pairs a relentless beat with samples drawn from Shygirl, Sassy 009, PinkPantheress and Five Nights at Freddy’s. Beyond the booth, 0800KIN works across visual design under the name 008CRK, carrying their digital, underground aesthetic into artwork for releases and events.
