DJSXYCOOLGRL is the Adelaide club alias of Trinh “Lolli” Tran, a DJ and visual artist associated with H34VEN0N34RTH. Beginning her DJ journey in 2024, she quickly found a place in the city’s deconstructed and queer club underground with a playful, fast-moving approach to dance music. Her sets roam through Jersey club, guaracha, baile funk, footwork, vogue beats, hard drum, UK funky and Latin club sounds, favouring heavy percussion, sharp edits and sudden rhythmic shifts. Lolli’s visual practice and internet-shaped identity carry into her performances, where humour, style and bodily movement sit alongside the music. She has appeared regularly at Ancient World and Sugar, sharing bills with touring artists including Manuka Honey, CRRDR, OJC, ONHELL, Anna Morgan and Anita B Queen. Mixes for platforms including GLOSS show the same open-ended club language, while her work with H34VEN0N34RTH places her within a wider community supporting inclusive, globally connected dancefloors in Adelaide.
